McCormick Train Park

Today we went to the McCormick Train Park in Scottsdale with Katrina, Dakota and Gunnar. They have a little train you can ride, some playgrounds, and a carousel - and it is lots of fun!

Tyler loves to walk on "balance beams" (aka our cement curbing in the backyard) and she holds her hands out for balance.

Tyler was a little cautious about being up on that big horse. She had a death grip on the pole!

Even Gunnar rode a horse!

They have this really cute old western play area. It has a stagecoach, and then like a mini western city with a jail, general store, sherriff's office, etc.

Somebody either dropped or spit out some candy in the driver's seat, so the boys were checking it out.

It started to get busier, so as soon as another train took off, we ran to get in line. We were first, but we had to wait like 15 minutes. The kids were dying!

The train has open boxes with benches to sit on, but there's a mini cattle car that you can ride in where they lock you in. Sounds a little scary to me, but the kids love it!

It's a really fun place to go, but with so much excitement, everyone was REALLY tired by the time we were done!

What a great day!
